🎉 My Health, My School Survey 2025/26 – Now Live!
We’re pleased to announce that the My Health, My School Survey is now live for the 2025/26 academic year!
Now in its 19th year, the survey continues to provide schools with vital insights into the health and wellbeing of children and young people across Leeds and beyond. With over 37,000 pupils participating last year, the survey remains a key tool for shaping targeted interventions and promoting positive school environments.
🧠 What’s New This Year?
This year’s launch includes important updates for pupils in Year 8 and below, ensuring full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 and Information Sharing Agreement (ISA) guidance.
Key changes include:
- Parental consent is now required for all pupils under the age of 13, including those in Year 8.
- Consent must be:
- Informed – Parents must understand the purpose and use of the survey.
- Freely given – Participation must be voluntary and easy to withdraw.
- Specific – Consent must relate directly to the My Health, My School Survey.
Schools must confirm compliance via a simple email to: schoolwellbeing@leeds.gov.uk
Template letters and consent forms are available on the Resources Page.
